Customer credit in free fall

CONSUMER CREDIT
September 2009

Consumer credit decreased at an annual rate of 6 percent in the third quarter of 2009. Revolving credit decreased at an annual rate of
10 percent, and nonrevolving credit decreased at an annual rate of 3-3/4 percent. In September, consumer credit decreased at an annual
rate of 7-1/4 percent.

The revolving credit was -13.3%,like in August.
And the commercial banks are still doing the elimination of the cutomer credit, the main reason behind the decrease is the weak banking sector.
